Which is just 5 mins up the road from Selby Community House\, with plenty of parking.\nWith this change we will not providing supper\, so feel free to bring your own drinks and snacks to enjoy! \n_____________________________________ \n  \n \nLes Thomas\nLes Thomas is a Melbourne-based singer-songwriter and storyteller who brings together folk tradition\, social conscience\, and poetic depth. Winner of the Troubadour Foundation’s Keeping the Flame Alive Award\, Les is known for songs that transform lived experience\, historical memory\, and grassroots struggles into powerful\, emotionally resonant music. \nWith a grounded voice and lyrics full of honesty and care\, he gives voice to the under-represented — First Nations heroes\, working-class families\, survivors and seldom-sung people who deserve to be heard. Whether historical\, political or deeply personal\, his songs don’t just tell stories — they stir the spirit. \n  \n \nJason Vorherr\nJason Vorherr is an established Melbourne-based musician\, singer\, and songwriter\, widely recognised for his long-term role as the bass guitarist for Australian rock legend Daryl Braithwaite.\nMore recently Jason has transitioned into a singer-songwriter\, with a country-folk storytelling style. He was named Musician of the Month in August 2022 by Australian Musician Magazine.
