A songwriter with a guitar\, Connell has an edge more reminiscent of Margaret Roadknight or Norma Waterson than of Kate Bush or Joni Mitchell. \n  \nKhristian Mizzi \nKhristian Mizzi\, awarded the 2021 Australian Folk Alliance ‘Solo Artist of the Year\,’ is widely recognised as one of the country’s finest folk voices. With a vocal delivery that’s truly unforgettable\, Mizzi weaves beauty and honesty into his lyrics. His distinctive picking style and emotive storytelling have earned him a reputation for deeply intimate solo performances. \nTogether they are captivating and definitely not to be missed.
