Gold coin donations for supper | $5 mulled wine.\n \nFrom the forests of eastern Melbourne come Grand Baxter\, an alt-folk trio combining earnest songwriting\, dense textures of guitar and strings\, and a humble country-folk charm… Grand Baxter exists at the intersection of rock\, folk and country.\nA band of long-time collaborators Ben Langdon (songwriter\, acoustic guitar)\, Dylan Knur (violin/mandolin) and Jack Wieseler (electric guitar)\, Grand Baxter has a chemistry and charisma that results in a sound greater than the sum of its three parts. \nOne Part Gin play dark folk music that is thickly splattered with blood\, grit and gloom. Melodies and pain collide as you follow in the forlorn footsteps of fools. Sam and Holly will light their lanterns and lead you into the shadows where narratives of a hopeless family tree interweave.
