FOUR YEARS since her last gig in Melbourne, poignant songwriter, pianist, acoustic guitar wizard and chocoholic, Jenny Biddle returns briefly from Scotland for her ONLY Australian performance.
Situated in the beautiful Dandenong Ranges on the outskirts of Melbourne, Jenny has chosen her all-time favourite venue to perform her only Australian show – at Selby Folk Club.
Once crowned “Melbourne’s Best Busker”, she comes armed with her eighth album “Hoping for a Hero”, new stage banter, singalongs, and old favs.

Supporting Jenny is Grand Baxter – a playful alt-folk trio, blending the timeless swoon of violin, the gritty heft of electric guitar and the sometimes uncomfortable honesty of Langdon’s songwriting.

Inspired by the great songs of James Taylor, Paul Simon and John Moreland, Grand Baxter offers listeners tiny moments of authentic truth, weaved between the bouncing rootsy sounds of folk, and alt-country, all wrapped in great blabs of humour and self-deprecation.
