Slow to Wake Trio

The Slow to Wake Trio represents a snapshot of the Celtic immigrant heritage of many Australians. The group’s unique sound is the result of bringing together three diverse musicians, each with their own musical voice, in a joyful, creative collaboration.

Síle, the newest Australian in the group, hails from Ireland. Jean is the daughter of a proud Scotsman, and Louise is the granddaughter of two Dubliners. Throw in a bit of English, Italian, Dutch-South African blood, and you have The Slow to Wake Trio.

With musical influences as wide as their own ancestral heritage, The Slow to Wake Trio performs delicate and thoughtful orchestrations of original and traditional songs and tunes.
