Tim Woodz

Folk Festival funny man and Maldon Ministerial award winner (2011). Tim Woodz has supported ex TISM Damien Cowell’s Disco Machine at the Corner Hotel and played multiple supports for Tex Perkins and the Dark Horses. A reporter after a gig at Sydney’s Oxford Art Factory wrote:

“Tim Woodz is the kind of person your Mum or Dad would describe most fittingly as a ‘duffer’… but Woodz’ charm played a big part in the audience warming up to him. He was all grins and silly anecdotes, putting the crowd at ease and holding court over a few tall tales.”

Tim is famously known for his Possum song, Tall Trees and Laundromat songs and on his on stage witty character. Tim’s Jazz trained guitar style with a blend of folk stories and quirky tales will please the poetic lovers in all the young at heart.
