Wattle Lane

Wattle Lane is a new project that sees Cate Taylor teaming up with Amla.
Cate is an indie-folk singer songwriter based in Naarm who performs delicately crafted material on guitar and mandolin. Amla is a captivating multi-instrumentalist (flautist, violinist & vocalist). Together they form….. to bring you a collection of moving songs that reflect social, personal and environmental themes delivered through story-telling, ballads and upbeat songs.

Blue Windows

Melbourne-based  Blue Windows move effortlessly between Folk, Country, and Americana, drawing inspiration from artists like The Waifs, Neil Young, and James Taylor. Their distinctive vocals, layered instrumentation, and touch of whimsy, support songs that explore the complexity of human resilience, change, and connection.

Finalists in multiple songwriting awards, Blue Windows are known for thoughtful lyrics and heartfelt melodies that balance poignancy with playfulness. Their 2024 album Northern Sky showcases their evolving musical depth. The title track, inspired by Wendy’s journey from the Netherlands to Australia, reflects on leaving the familiar Northern Sky for the Southern Stars.

With two studio albums and a reputation for performances that tug at the heartstrings and occasionally spark a laugh, Blue Windows offer a warm and engaging presence on the Folk Club stage.
